A grid I made for the Grid assignment, involving line and texture. I used lightroom to change lighting and color.

I like this picture because of the dark tones, textures, and cultural elements. By.Andrzej Dragan

Framing Top 3 (3)

This is a picture I took at home in by backyard, where an old wooden shovel was hanging on the fence. The scene I thought had an antique and old feel, offset by the newer orange wood beam. All of it is wood, but each piece has it's own unique quality. The wood shows you a history or a timeline. It's a collection of different shapes, colors, shades, and depths. The wooden planks going into the distance follow a "Leading Lines" framing technique.

Framing Top 3 (2)

This photo was taken by Lincoln behind the park, using the close up scene mode of my camera. I like the crisp focus and prominent textures. The vibrant and colorful leaves follow the "Fill The Frame" framing technique. It shows the complexities of something so simple. The leaf branches out in almost symmetrical diagonal lines. Each piece has it's own texture and color.

Framing Top 3 (1)

This picture was taken on the way from the museum to school. I took this picture because it had "bug's eye view" framing. The buildings are clear and very reflective, showing the very uniform clouds above. The buildings form a trench; they act as walls and the sky is a deep empty. But the lamp and the trees are close and safe. It's like your peering from the edge, but you haven't yet fallen in. Or you were standing there, under the lamp, and decided to look up to the sky and away from everything else.

Lost In Thought
Nothing like taking a couple minutes in the afternoon to think about stuff. Certainly easier than doing stuff.
